Hi really interesting. Only two questions. First, do I need to modify the axe or can I just use the wiichuck adapter? Second, how realistic is the fingering with respect of a real guitar? I mean, is the same I would find in any "learn to play the guitar" book?

---Pablo-
<blockquote>
You could certainly use the wii-chuck adapter on todbot's blog. Or you could use an extension cable and cut that to hardwire it all together. The only reason i cut mine up was to save the adapter and to make sure it didnt fall out of the plug once it was all tucked inside the guitar.

The fingering is a little off though. i used to play baritone (euphonium) and the fingering is loosely based off of those fingerings. but if you were to make your own, you could modify the fingerings however you choose. in the large Switch-Case section of code in the guitarMode() function you just adjust the cases for each note to be what you'd want the scale to look like. the code is pretty heavily commented, but i can always help if you cant figure out what you'd need to do.
